A brief encounter with Gore Vidal

By Subra February 12, 2008 One comment

Gore Vidal is ranked among the greatest living masters of American literature. Throughout his long and eventful life, he has held steadfast to a brand of progressive “liberalism” that still burns brightly to this day.
I was pretty nervous to even approach him, the man’s a legend, and the journalist who interviewing him as I [...]

Turtles

No, not a treasured childhood memory (one that arguably has been George Lucased recently) but one of the more entertaining sights of our trip to the Galle Literary Festival. We were sitting by the beach recovering from a long day with a cold beverage or two when a turtle crawled on to the beach nearby [...]

Welcome to the MCS blog

This is the first step in what promises to be an incredibly exciting journey - literally in the case of our trip to the Galle Literary Festival. We’ll be blogging live from there, as well as filing reports on My Carbon Stash development and launch information.
